2. NYT WordleBot
Post-game analysis. Input: Play on NYT, or upload a screenshot.
The official analysis tool from The New York Times. It scores your skill and luck from 0 to 99 and replays your game against the bot. According to its FAQ, the bot picks guesses from about 4,500 common words. Access may require a New York Times subscription, and it only works once you've finished.
3. Wordle Dictionary
Solver and word list. Input: Tap tiles to match colors, or upload a screenshot.
A careful single-maintainer solver that scores useful guesses by how many answers they eliminate on average, and explains clearly that a useful guess is not the same as a likely answer. It handles repeated letters well and can filter out past answers. The homepage shows a grid of possible answers, which is a mild spoiler risk.
4. word.tips Wordle Solver
Solver. Input: Green, yellow and gray letter fields.
A full-featured solver with strict letter order, extra rows and a hard-mode toggle. It shows how many words remain and a ranked next guess, without explaining how the ranking works. Ad-supported, with sign-in and app prompts.
5. TheWordFinder Wordle Solver

A filter-style solver that can exclude yellow letters from the spots where they appeared, suggest a next guess and filter out previous answers. It also handles word lengths from 3 to 12 letters. Ad-supported.

7. Rock Paper Shotgun Wordle Solver
Answer finder. Input: Type guesses and tap tiles.
A simple tool from the PC gaming site: enter your guesses, tap the tiles to match the colors and it lists every possible answer plus the most useful letters. It does not rank whole-word guesses.
8. PerThirtySix Visual Wordle Solver
Visualization. Input: Click letters by position.
An ad-free, educational visualization of the 2,309 original answers that shades letters by frequency as you add constraints. Great for building intuition, but it does not suggest guesses, and newer answers can fall outside its list.

What is the best Wordle solver?
It depends on what you want. To get the best next guess with the reasoning shown, use a solver that ranks guesses by information, such as Wordle Solver+ or Wordle Dictionary. To learn from a finished game, use a post-game analyzer such as the NYT WordleBot or our free Wordle bot. If you only want the answer, a daily hints page is quickest.
Is using a Wordle solver cheating?
Wordle is a personal puzzle, so it is up to you. Many players solve on their own and use a solver or bot afterwards to see what they could have done better, which keeps the fun and still improves their play.
